A set of lectures from the first season of the public lecture series „Millal on disain?“ (“When is design?”) is now available with subtitles in English.

The first season includes lectures by various designers, such as Ruth-Helene Melioranski, Kristi Rummel-Kottisse, Margus Tamm, Laura Pappa, Ilona Gurjanova, Martin Pärn, and Anton Koovit.

Subtitles will also be added to the subsequent video lectures. The museum’s YouTube channel provides more updates and recordings.

The lecture series features presentations from both practising designers and professionals with long careers behind them. It is based on the contradictory processes of constant expansion, blurring, and reformulation of the design concept.
